The SVQ level 2 course is the complete nail technician qualification, teaching you the fundamental knowledge of anatomy and physiology, as well as a deep understanding of the specific treatment knowledge. This is a formal SQA qualification that is recognised as a high standard of training and education.
You will be taught all the latest techniques and have time to practise before working on clients. There will be online multiple-choice assessments and some home study tasks to be completed. We will thoroughly prepare you for all that you have to do so no need to worry!

- Tips with acrylic or gel enhancements
- Maintenance infill
- Removal of acrylic or gel
- Nail art
- Manicure
- Pedicure
- Salon reception
- Develop and maintain your effectiveness at work
- Anatomy and physiology; hand, arm, foot, lower leg and skin.
