Gel Extensions 2 days (Builder gel, Hard gel, Sculpting using forms)

This course is for nail technicians already trained in gel polish. You will need to provide proof of this before you can be enrolled.

This comprehensive gel nail course will teach you the use of a form and sculpting to create a beautiful nail enhancement with the use of CUCCIO Builder gel and hard gel. This will be demonstrated by the educator first and then performed by the student. 

The course includes:

• Maintain safe and effective methods of working when providing Gel Nail treatments. 
• Consult, plan and prepare for Gel Nail treatments. 
• Provide Gel Nail treatments. 
• Provide aftercare advice 

You will need to successfully complete the following units online: 

• GN001 Introduction, Reception, Consultation & Ventilation 
• GN002 Anatomy & Physiology 
• GN003 Contra-indications & Contra-actions 
• GN004 Preparation 
• GN005 Technique
• GN006 Treatment Adaptations 
• GN007 Maintenance, Repair & Removal
• GN006 Treatment Adaptations
• GN007 Maintenance, Repair & Removal 
• GN008 Aftercare 

Additional assessments which are required for the practical session: 

• Technique – Gel Nail Application 
• Removal by Filing (Hard Gel)
• Removal by Acetone (Builder gel)

Once the practical has been observed and passed the certificate will be downloadable in the guild portal.

You are required to bring a model for the day however if you would like one provided please let us know at the time of booking and this can be arranged.
